I am hoping to bring my audio podcast back for another episode next month during the summer. One of the topics I like talking about on my audio podcast are some of the latest things going on with Septa. This year Septa has proposed a “doomsday” budget and has been thinking of drastically cutting many bus routes and even eliminating some regional rail lines if they don’t get more state funding from the PA State Senate. It’s amazing that SEPTA is even thinking about doing these drastic service cuts by 45% and raising the bus fare again later in the summer. All throughout the year there has been a fight among the public in the city of Philadelphia in trying to “Save Septa” by pressuring PA State Senate to giving SEPTA more funding to prevent these drastic cuts. On my audio podcast, “Big Discussion”, I am going to share my opinions on this situation because this “doomsday” budget affects thousands of septa riders in Philadelphia. Stay tuned for the next audio podcast sometime in early August this summer.
