I am hoping to bring back my audio podcast this month. On my audio podcast I like talking about the latest with SEPTA once in a while. This year SEPTA has been thinking about drastically cutting bus service and regional rail lines across the city of Philadelphia as well as raising the fare by over 20%. I am a SEPTA rider as I can ride the septa bus once a while during the week. SEPTA has recently proposed something called the “doomsday” budget and is considering cutting services by as much as 45%. On my audio podcast: “Big Discussion” I am going to try and share my opinions and thoughts about SEPTA drastically doing these service cuts. It is even amazing that SEPTA has considered doing this despite the fact these drastic service cuts will affect hundreds of thousands of SEPTA riders later on this year.
