The Septa funding crisis is still not really resolved. It is said that Septa services could be cut again a few years from now if they don’t get any additional new money from the PA State Senate in Harrisburg. SEPTA says the money they received that restored the bus services this past month may only last a couple of years if no additional new money for a long-term solution. Coming up in a week or so TFP is going to have a “week without driving” in the city of Philadelphia campaign. During this SEPTA funding crisis a lot of residents in Philadelphia may have learned how important public transportation can be whether you use it or not. The SEPTA funding crisis is still going on because they could do drastic service cuts again in the near future. In Pennsylvania we still need to find a long-term solution in funding public transportation so drastic service cuts do not happen again in the near future in Philadelphia. Save SEPTA!
