The Philadelphia Phillies haven’t been in the World Series since 2022 losing to the Houston Astros. The 2025 MLB season was not successful in the post-season as they lost to L.A. Dodgers in the division series. This Phillies team won 96 games during the regular season but they were not really favored to win this year’s World Series. At the same time it’s not really surprising that the Dodgers had to beat the Phillies in the division series in order to advance while reaching the World Series. The Phillies probably will be a good team again next year if players like Bryce Harper and Turner return. The Phillies may need the core of them together for at least one more season to see if they can make the post-season and hope for a World Series. Lastly, I think the Phillies will get back to the World Series soon because I think they will eventually get the winning attitude that they need for a successful season. The Phillies last won the World Series way back in 2008 and I think they will hopefully do it again.
