I recently, e-mailed a SEPTA bus operator and sent a few questions asking him about the new bus network that could happen this year. As a member of the Philly Transit Riders Union I became concerned about how SEPTA could be eliminating some bus routes doing this new network. One of my questions included in the interview was, what does this mean for the future of some of the other bus routes that are not being eliminated? I find it interesting that they are calling this a new SEPTA bus network but some of these routes may be permanently discontinued. I am trying to conduct this e-mail interview because I became curious and wondered about what this could mean in the near future.
