I take public transit in the city of Philadelphia. This past week there were many delays on the Septa regional rail lines because of lack of funding. Throughout the year I have been trying to keep up with the latest news on public transit in Philadelphia because there has been a funding crisis as well. It has been because of the lack of funding to Septa that caused the many delays on the regional rail lines since some of the trains may have been on fire. SEPTA had to inspect their regional rail trains recently but the lack of funding has caused them to be unable to update their rail lines. As septa riders we need to continue to fight for a safer public transit system throughout the city of Philadelphia because we deserve to get to work or school using a reliable service.
