As I tried reading about the Philadelphia Phillies franchise history during this summer of 2026 the Phillies are currently tied with the Chicago Cubs for NL Eastern Wild Card standings. The Phillies got off to a slow start at the beginning of 2026 MLB regular season but they have recovered and are now in second place behind the Atlanta Braves in NL Eastern Division by fourteen games. The Phillies made a nice recovery after firing their manager back in April and then hiring now manager Don Mattingly. As of right now the Philadelphia Phillies are trying to make their fifth straight post-season as a the NL Eastern wild card team. Let’s go Phillies!
